Boyd Piano
APPEARANCE:
Attractive walnut case. Case is generally good, although the top lid shows some signs of history. Approximate dimensions = 44" high
x 53" wide x 21" deep.
TYPE OF PIANO:
Overstrung, underdamped. Dating from approx 1930. 2-pedal 85 note.
PLAYING CHARACTERISTICS:
Tuned to just below concert pitch. A medium-light touch that is consistent and responsive, producing a nicely balanced tone - clear yet quite mellow. The bass is also pleasantly full. Could do up to grade 8 on this instrument. I enjoy playing this instument. It might require tuning twice a year.
